Wildacres is a Retreat & Conference Center dedicated to the betterment of human relations. The facilities are used by educational and cultural groups such as music, art, mineral & lapidary classes, and religious, interfaith, civic, and science seminars. More than 80 diverse groups participate in a typical Wildacres season.
The Eastern Federation of Mineralogical & Lapidary Societies holds two workshops at Wildacres each year, in the spring and the fall.

Anyone may attend, but priority is given to members of clubs belonging to EFMLS. Here is a list of clubs.
A week at an EFMLS Wildacres Workshop includes room & board, and lectures for only $425 tuition. The tuition does not include class fees. The individual instructors set the fee for their class. Approximately 2/3 of the cost of attending Wildacres is underwritten through the generosity of the Blumenthal Foundation.
Depending upon the class, there may be an additional fee for supplies. These fees reflect only the instructor's direct costs.
Sorry, no. Wildacres requires that attendees fully participate in their group's program. However, an EFMLS Wildacres Workshop has classes that should appeal to most all folks. Come and enjoy!
Yes, you are most welcome to enjoy a libation with friends on the deck, in the canteen, or in your room. BYOB-- no alcohol is sold at Wildacres.
