The Eastern Field Access Council (EFAC)
In early September of 2019, shortly after President Nock created EFTA, he was writing his last EFMLS News Newsletter and announced the creation of an EFMLS Field Sharing Program (EFTA). While writing and looking for additional page content, on a whim, he thought- we should be doing more! The idea sprung on how to address the number one challenge facing our shared recreation. During the 10 minutes of ad-libbing while typing, a new type of Field Program- The Eastern Field Access Council (EFAC) was born.
The Council was created to explore ways in which we can preserve access to existing collecting localities and gain access to new ones.
