St. Lawrence County is located in the NW Adirondack Lowlands of Northern NYS. The membership roster lists over 90 members. Our area hosts two neighboring mining companies; Empire State Zinc Mine and Gouverneur Minerals Co. Each has provided much collecting over the years, but currently no collecting available without permission. (Check out our photo page to see specimens from these locations)
