Lizzie has been a member of the Danbury Mineralogical Society (CT) for about 21 years, and bulletin editor for about 11. She came for the jewelry and stayed because of the people – and some of the minerals. Both her grandfathers were civil engineers, and so is her husband, and she prefers to admire the STEM fields from a safe distance.
