A wintry and festive December to you, Mini Miners! It’s time again for another fun and colorful issue of Mini Miners Monthly.
With the holidays approaching we decided to feature silver (like tinsel). As always there are pictures to color and an opportunity to draw.
Contributing author, Jillian Primrose, brings to us an excellent article about the use of minerals as pigments for paint. Following her article is some guidance for you to use minerals to make paint for your own artwork.
Don’t forget to check out Geology365.com to keep a record of your mineral specimens.
You can download the December issue here in our members area.
Diamond Dan Publications has a new coloring/activity/learning book! “Silica: Agates & Opals & Quartz”
Email us to purchase copies. Special volume discounts for mineral clubs and rock shops and teachers.
Best wishes to you all!
